How Did We Get Here?
Our family has had many dogs and animals around our farm over the years. Horses, pigs and of course dogs! We wanted to give our kids the experience for having a litter of pups. Our oldest daughter got to work researching breeds and breeding techniques, genetics and best practices. She landed on the breed cavapoo! Read about this special breed here.
Our Little Fancy Pants
Fancy came into the family after all of this research and we searched nationwide, luckily our little Fancy Pants was born just a few months earlier close to our home! She has been the apple of Makenna’s eye ever since!
When Makenna went off to college, Fancy went to visit often and missed her while she was gone with her livestock judging team trips across the US.
When it was time to breed, sad story, Makenna was in college 8 hours away! So mom and dad helped out! Her brothers are loving the process too!
Her litters have a special spot in our home where we work with them daily to make them great pets for you. We work on early stimulation to help problem solve, we also introduce household noises and textures to help them transition as well!

Charlene aka “Charlie”
“But it looked good to Charlene, in John Deere Green….” We are pretty strongly John Deere here on the farm so Charlene seemed pretty fitting for our little lady.
Introducing Charlene, “Charlie” our F1 Mini Cavapoo. Charlie was handpicked out of Fancy and Chief’s 2/22/22 litter to stay in our family and have a litter of her own! F1b Cavapoos are a great part of our program. She lives at Grandma and Grandpa’s house and enjoys all things about farm life including her own sibling, the barn cat, Spot Jr.
Waffles
Willy Nelson AKA Waffles is our very own AKC Registered Mini Poodle stud! He is the sire of several Heritage Litters.
Waffles is one of the SMARTEST, most easily-trainable dogs we have ever owned. His genetic profile is clean and offers the makings of healthy, beautiful pups for litters to come. Keep your eyes peeled for the color he may bring to our red girls!

Piper June
Piper June was selected out of Fancy and Thunder’s 1st litter to stay in our breeding program. Piper lives in her guardian home on another farm with her sister Roxie.
Piper is one of the sweetest dogs to come out of our program. Her demeanor is cuddly, sweet, and oh-so fun! She is a serial lap sitter. Hold a treat in front of her and she will do flips!
Dotty
Dotty West was added to our pack when we fell in love with the English Cream Doodle breed. She is an absolute doll. She lives on our farm and loves her family hard. This gentle girl loves to be petted and hang out on the patio with her people. One thing she is known for is her love sighs. When we approach her, she just aches and oozes love it and peeks out of her with a special little love sigh. As our young son said about Dotty, “we just don’t deserve the love dogs give us” we agree, especially this sweet doll.

Raising The Littles
Our approach to puppies starts with our housedog Fancy giving birth in her own little doggie room assisted by Monica. At about 2 days old we begin doing Early Neurological Stimulation exercises and Early Scent Introduction daily.
At three and a half weeks we start potty training and weaning them. We took our cue from the mama who starts to pull away. They take immediately to wet puppy food and transition to a slurry of dry food prepared fresh each meal. We then begin potty training them!
Additionally we teach them emotional stability skills such as responding to new stimuli and recovering quickly. Along with emotional skills, we begin handling the pups daily paying particular attention to pads of the feet, tail, ear and mouth in order to desensitize them to these types of touch. This will aid in grooming and doctoring later in life. Getting their nails trimmed will be old hat for these puppies by the time they are 4 weeks old! Exposing them to household sounds such as the hair dryer and vacuum cleaner, traffic and thunderstorms along with other dog sounds will make the transition to your home even more seamless.
Your puppy comes home with all up-to-date worming and vaccinations along with a health check from the vet! We even throw in a welcome home package for your puppy to have a smooth transition away from the litter. Kit includes a Snuggle Puppy with a heating pad and a heart beat, a blanket that smells like the pack and a sample/starter pack of the food they are accustomed to eating.
Later in puppyhood, some basic training such as “sit” and “come” will be introduced as well as early crate training! We want these puppies to be absolute blessings to your family as our dogs are to ours and our early weeks with them are very important in that journey! We will do our best for you!
“The Dog Room”

Our old farm office has turned into our “Dog Room.” This room is attached to our home and allows us a convenient, cozy place for our girl and pups….. and a nice place for our visitors to interact with the litter.
