The Loft offers a perspective of Heritage Family Farms that few others get to see. Built as a balcony overlook within our main farm shop, these rooms sit directly above the heartbeat of our daily operations. This unique farm lodging in Arthur, IL was specifically designed for those who appreciate the authentic, industrial rhythm of a working 6th-generation farm. Because the rooms are situated right in our active workspace, we primarily reserve these quarters for our close friends, family, and associates who want to be right in the middle of the action.
The Stories Behind Our Rooms
We have poured our family history into every corner of The Loft, decorating the space with relics and antiques that tell the story of the generations who farmed this land before us.
Room 1 – Hoosier Homes
$115 + tax
Named after our patriarch Mike’s rustic Canadian cabins that date back to his grandparents. Mike has visited these cabins since childhood, and we have brought pieces of that family retreat—including the outboard motor he used on DogTooth Lake as a child—into this room for you to enjoy.

This space is a tribute to the tools of the trade. It is decorated with antique welders and heirlooms from ancestors who worked this soil with gratitude and hope.

Room 3 – The Bunkroom

Farm hands always need a soft place to land at the end of a productive day in the fields. That is the reason we built this room, but we have plenty of room to share with guests too! This room features Jerelyn and her brother Gary’s original FFA jackets, alongside those of their grandchildren. It serves as a beautiful reminder that we truly “Believe in the future of agriculture.”

Common Area
Modern Comfort in an Industrial Setting
While the view from the balcony is of a busy, working shop, the interior is a peaceful sanctuary. Guests can enjoy our common area and “front porch” space, perfect for a morning coffee or a quiet moment of reading. Despite being in the heart of the shop, the rooms provide the privacy you need with the high-speed internet and modern comforts you expect.
